Valentine Layouts...the first for the year

Well it's cold and rainy today.  The perfect day  for crafting in your jammies!  I started off last week by pulling out my valentine papers from my stash and hoping to be inspired to use them up, to make room for new papers, of course.  And hoping to use my Explore to make some titles and cuts perfect for the holiday.  Plus I wanted to use the little FREE digital cards I downloaded from Webster's Pages.  You can use this link to download for yourself:

Now, I am just head over heels in love with my new Crircut Explore so far. Now don't get me wrong, as with any great relationship there are problems.  First just getting to know each other and learning all the tips and tricks to make the most out of this latest big ticket purchase.

I am still deciding whether I want to pay the subscribers monthly fee, or just buy images as I need them, since I already have dozens of my  own cricut cartridges uploaded into my Cricut account.  Now it's only January 11th, but so far I have only bought 4 images, at 99 cents each, so  I am still ahead of the subscription price.  But it is only the 11th of the month....lolol

Above is the latest youtube video I made to show off some very very simple layouts I did with gorgeous die cuts and titles from the Explore.   Hope you enjoy and as for me...back to the craft room to use up the rest of that valentine paper.

hugs and have fun,
Molly

2015 Calendar "Folios" for you purse...

Well it's officially 2015!  And I have been in a calendar making mood for quite a while.  So I've been searching youtube and Pinterest for inspiration and after too too too many hours at the computer screen, I pulled away and started making some purse size "calendar folios".  Got the idea for the "folio" style from seeing the youtube videos from Kathryn Krieger and her amazing foto folio kits videos.  That, of course, led me to watching about a hundred other videos, which took me from mid December til, well now, after the ball has dropped.

I "engineered" a purse size folio and have been making them fast and furiously.  Easy to do, a little bizarre flipping and folding later and I'm just about where I want to be on the layouts.  So now I thought I'd share with you what I have come up with....
I made the "Clock Face" calendars with my Photoshop Elements program and have them posted here if you would like to use.

You should be able to just right click on the picture and then "save image" to wherever you would like or "print image".  They are sized to print on 8.5 x 11 inch paper.   I would appreciate any links back to my blog if you upload pictures or videos using these, thanks!

Below are just five of the best, cutest, freshest calendars I found on Pinterest....so far!

I have provided a link to the Pinterest page and then you just need to click on the pictures and it should take you straight to their blogs where you can download these great calendars.

You will certainly want to follow their blogs, too!  So inspirational and creative...
